Nursing Care
Our nursing care services will be provided by our registered nurses and licensed practical nurses under the direct supervision of a physician. A home care plan will be made, enforced and strictly followed to be able to provide the appropriate level of care that is needed.
Services may include:
- Evaluation of Patient Needs
- Coordination of patient care services
- Self care training and prevention strategy training
- Skilled Procedures: Wound care, Wound Vac Pac System, Ostomy teaching/care
- Enteral/parenteral instruction and care
- IV antibiotic administration, Injections, pain management and hydration therapy, blood products infusion and chemotherapy
- Central line care – (CVP, PIC line Port o Cath, Hickman, Hickman Cath, Broviac Cath, Groshong catheters)
- Foley catheters, Bowel and Bladder training
- Respiratory Care (oxygen therapy, ventilator care, tracheostomy care)
- Patient Education (inclusive of family members and caregivers on all aspects of condition)
- Teaching ADL’S, Diet teaching, medication administration
- Teaching safety and infection control and other physician ordered services.
Home Health Aide
The experienced and well-trained home health aides provided by Green Cross Home Care Services will ensure that patients will be properly assisted and supported in the comfort of home. They will be under the supervision of our helpful nurses or licensed therapists.

Our compassionate and helpful medical social workers will assist you in the access to community and local resources to help you. Our social workers can also provide the family with short-term counseling or as needed.

Supplies/Therapy
For medical supplies and therapies for patients who are receiving covered services from Medicare should coordinate with Green Cross Home Care Services.
